Family Health History
“As my writing coach and editor, Sharon helped me turn a history of a medical specialty into a compelling social history of pediatric cardiology and the story of the people who gave birth to that field. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services.”
—William N. Evans, M.D., Founder and Director, Children’s Heart Center, Las Vegas, Nevada
Doctors and medical personnel are realizing the importance of a family health history when treating and preventing disease in their patients. But how many of us really know the health history of our parents or grandparents, let alone cousins, aunts, and uncles? Without that, how can we communicate accurately to our health care providers and make informed decisions about our health?
Jim Warren and Sharon Carmack are strong advocates of researching, recording, and communicating your family health history to your physician. They’ve both come to realize how critical this is to their own health care.
We will work with you to compile a family health history. Our services are completely confidential. Contact us for details.
